CIVPAC is reviewing candidates in selected 2026 primary and general-election races. This is a working list intended to make our endorsement process visible and to invite informed comments from voters who know these candidates and communities.
Status Key
Published endorsement — CIVPAC has formally endorsed a candidate in the general election and published the endorsement.
Under review — CIVPAC is examining the race or one or more candidates, but no general-election endorsement has been published.
Endorsement likely — CIVPAC has reached a favorable preliminary judgment about a candidate, but no general-election endorsement has yet been published.
Where CIVPAC is not yet reviewing a particular candidate for the general election, the race is listed simply as Democratic nominee and Republican nominee. California is listed by its general-election finalists.
When a named candidate’s primary has not yet concluded, pending primary outcome means only that CIVPAC has discussed or endorsed that candidate during the primary. It does not imply that the candidate has won the nomination or received a general-election endorsement.
A primary endorsement does not automatically become a general-election endorsement. CIVPAC evaluates the November choice separately.
California

Connecticut
Ned Lamont and Ryan Fazio — Under review.
CIVPAC endorsed Lamont in the Democratic primary and he won renomination.
Georgia
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
CIVPAC endorsed Geoff Duncan and Brad Raffensperger in their respective primaries.
Iowa
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
Rob Sand and Zach Lahn have been discussed as possible endorsement candidates.
Kansas
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
CIVPAC has endorsed Ethan Corson in the Democratic primary; pending primary outcome.
Minnesota
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
Lisa Demuth remains under review; pending Republican-primary outcome.
New Mexico
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
Deb Haaland and Gregg Hull have been discussed as possible endorsement candidates.
Tennessee
Democratic nominee and Republican nominee — Under review
Jerri Green remains under review; pending Democratic-primary outcome.
Vermont
Amanda Janoo and Phil Scott — Under review.
CIVPAC endorsed Aly Richards in the Democratic primary; Richards lost to Janoo. Janoo won 49.1% to 46.5%.
David Crowley and Tom Tiffany — Under review.
CIVPAC endorsed Crowley over the DSA backed Francesca Hong. Crowley has now been declared the winner.
Comments and Candidate Suggestions
These lists are intended to encourage informed public participation. CIVPAC welcomes:
- corrections concerning candidates, districts or election status;
- arguments supporting or opposing a possible endorsement;
- information about a candidate’s governing record, policy positions or personal conduct;
- local knowledge that may not appear in national coverage; and
- suggestions of additional Democratic, Republican or independent candidates who reflect CIVPAC’s principles.
